Fireworks planned for Exeter homecoming events
Don Thomas Stadium will be rocking this Friday; celebrating the 2019 homecoming weekend in the Exeter Township School District.
Fireworks are planned for the Exeter football game against Conrad Weiser according to a statement by Berks Hometown Heroes and the Exeter May Days Committee. Both organizations also plan to contribute $1,000 to the Exeter Community Education Foundation.
During the game, small firework shows will occur when Exeter scores each touchdown. A finale fireworks display will start after the game ends. The game is expected to start at 7 p.m.
Homecoming events for Exeter Township School District will begin on Thursday, September 26th with the annual Homecoming Parade and Bonfire.
The parade will start at 6:00 p.m. from the high school and will include floats from Exeter teams, clubs, organizations as well introduce the 2019 Homecoming Court. Directly following the parade, a bonfire will be started next to Reiffton Middle School.
On Friday, September 27th, the 2019 Homecoming King and Queen will be presented at halftime during the football game.
On Saturday, September 28th, the high school students will have their Homecoming Dance.
